Simon Pearce

Simon Pearce opened his first glass blowing workshop in Kilkenny Ireland after working in his parents pottery factory.  In 1981, he moved his operation to Vermont.  Each piece of lead free glass is handblown and hand finished using traditional techniques, and is inspected and graded for quality.  Due to the nature of handmade products, pieces will vary slightly in size.

 

Simon Pearce pottery is created one at a time and is finished using hand glazing techniques.  The clay used is a combination of stoneware and porcelain.
