Terrafirma Ceramics was founded by Ellen Evans in 1980, focused on designing and producing high quality tabletop products. Located in New York City, the Terrafirma studio creates stoneware items, then paints through textiles and lace using liquid porcelain to produce a variety of unique patterns. Each piece is made by hand, and fired to extremely high temperatures which results in great durability. Slight variances in color, texture and surface are the desired result of the handmade process.
Each piece is signed and dated, and all products are food safe.
